Tammy Dungan, Founder & WOMEN's WELLNESS Advocate
After three years of suffering from debilitating Lyme Disease and Spondyloarthritis that landed her in a wheelchair, Tammy educated herself through the American Fitness Professionals & Associates, The Institute for Functional Medicine, and the Girls Gone Strong certifications. While acquiring vast knowledge from courses and literature, she implemented holistic lifestyle changes to successfully regain her strength, mobility, and well-being. During her physical healing process, past traumas resurfaced that continued to impact her health. By putting in the work, incorporated wellness practices, deep self-discovery, and holistic experiences, Tammy improved both her physical and mental health.
Her struggles empowered her to learn all she could to serve women suffering from similar afflictions. The Limitless Ladies Network was launched in 2024 to pursue her passion for educating and serving women on how to improve their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Tammy is an avid advocate for women and young girls. She has led the Dream It Be It program for Soroptimist International for local high schools and colleges to encourage and promote positive self-awareness and advocacy. As a Board Member, and former Treasurer, of the Soroptimist International of Willimantic, she has led the Live Your Dream Scholarship program to provide scholarships and grants to women in need of support to better their lives through education. She has also led the Dream It Be It Program for a group of young women at the local high school and was a guest speaker at a workshop for seven surrounding high schools held at Eastern Connecticut State University encouraging and motivating girls to Dream Big.
